CHICAGO — Great Britain's Prince Harry is paying a visit to Chicago on Tuesday to speak at the Obama Summit, but the city holds a place near and dear to the royal's heart for a different reason.

Harry's girlfriend (and rumored fiancee) Meghan Markle is a 2003 graduate of Northwestern University.

According to Markle's IMDB bio: "I had always been the theater nerd at Northwestern University. I knew I wanted to do acting, but I hated the idea of being this cliché — a girl from L.A. who decides to be an actress. I wanted more than that, and I had always loved politics, so I ended up changing my major completely, and double-majoring in theater and international relations."

Apart from her relationship with the prince, Markle is best known for her role on the USA Network series "Suits." A promotional tour for the show brought Markle back to her alma mater in 2014, where she took part in a Q&A with students.

During that visit, Markle told a reporter from North by Northwestern: “It’s surreal being back because I haven’t been back since I graduated and as I am walking around I remember things like the schlep of getting to South Campus from up north,” Markle told North by Northwestern.

Markle also confessed, “The 24-hour Burger King also definitely helped me put on the Freshman Fifteen.”

A member of Kappa Kappa Gamma while at Northwestern, Markle even made time to swing by her old sorority back in 2014.

With "Suits" filming in Toronto — a quick trip by air to Chicago — will Meghan join Harry at the Obama Summit, perhaps in a Halloween disguise? We're keep our eyes glued to social media for any Twitter sightings.

In a case of coincidence or fate, Harry's mum, the late Princess Diana, famously swept Chicago off its feet during a whirlwind visit in June 1996. Her first stop on that tour? Northwestern University.
