STREETERVILLE — Five Chihuahua puppies up for adoption are coming to a Streeterville hotel for a "puppy parade."

Cauldron, Bubble, Toil, Trouble and Bum are appearing from 11 a.m.-noon Thursday at the Hotel EMC2, 228 E. Ontario St.

The 2-month-old puppies were sent to the Anti-Cruelty Society at 510 N. LaSalle St. when their owner had too many dogs in the home.

Now the shelter is hoping guests at the hotel want to move the puppies back to a forever home. The event is open to the public.

"If they’re interested in adopting, they can meet us back at our facility to do the paperwork," said Colette Bradley, a spokeswoman for the shelter.

Four of the five Chihuahuas take their name from a famous passage in Shakespeare's "MacBeth." It's unclear why the fifth dog is named Bum.
