WRIGLEYVILLE — If the Cubs are going to clinch the National League Division Series, they are going to have to wait.
Tuesday's Game 4 of the NLDS was postponed because of rain. It is now scheduled to be played at 3:08 p.m. Wednesday at Wrigley Field. The Cubs lead the best-of-five series 2 games to 1.
Tuesday's game was supposed to start at 4:38 p.m., but the start was delayed as rain approached. The first drops began falling around 5:10 p.m. The decision to postpone it was made at 5:15 p.m.
The starting pitchers for Wednesday's makeup Game 4 will not change. Nationals pitcher Tanner Roark will pitch, as will Cubs pitcher Jake Arrieta.
