LOGAN SQUARE — An exhibit featuring nearly 100 vintage postcards of Logan Square may be ending next week, but the first-generation prints can live on in your home for years to come.
The photos, which depict neighborhood streets in the early 20th century, are being sold online, both in print form ($40) and on plaques ($70).
Originally, the exhibit at Comfort Station, 2579 N. Milwaukee Ave., was slated to run through Sept. 30, but organizers had to end the show Sept. 24.

Andrew Schneider, president of Logan Square Preservation, is behind the exhibit, dubbed "Greetings From Logan Square: Real Photo Postcards From The Early 20th Century."
Schneider bought the postcards from a single eBay collector who painstakingly gathered the artifacts — sometimes just one or two at a time — at various antique fairs and shows over the years.
The images were "taken at a time of immense transition from what was once an area dominated by farmland to a dense and dynamic urban area," Schneider said.
All proceeds benefit neighborhood group Logan Square Preservation.
