LOGAN SQUARE — "Nasty Women Art Chicago," an artist collective formed in response to President Donald Trump's rhetoric, is coming to Logan Square.
The group is putting on an art exhibit with interactive displays from 5:30-10:30 p.m. Friday in the Stan Mansion, a historic 20,000-square-foot event venue at 2408 N. Kedzie Ave. A performance from improv comedian duo Dominizuelan will round out the evening.
All of the proceeds from the exhibit, which has a $5 suggested donation, will benefit Planned Parenthood Illinois.
A VIP ticket, which includes entry to a champagne and cupcake pre-party and early access to buy art, costs $50 and can be bought online.
Chicago's "Nasty Women" exhibition is part of a global movement among artists who aim to resist Trump's policies and support women's rights. Nearly 50 "Nasty Women" art exhibitions have been held across the United States and around the world to date.
