LINCOLN SQUARE — With an October opening in sight for its new Montrose Avenue location, Nick's Pizza & Pub is hosting a pair of upcoming job fairs.

Prospective employees can fill out an application and score an interview on the spot, 4-7 p.m. Thursday and from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, 2434 W. Montrose Ave.

The restaurant has numerous available positions: servers, bartenders, hosts, bussers and cooks.

Applications will also be accepted 4-7 p.m. Friday, but hiring managers won't be on site.

It's been a year since Nick Sarillo, who already operates pizza joints in Elgin and Crystal Lake, announced plans to open a third Nick's in Lincoln Square, taking over the vacated home of the former Grand Tour restaurant.

Nick's recently shared a photo to Facebook of construction underway on Montrose.

Nick's suburban locations operate inside repurposed barns. Owner Nick Sarillo said the Lincoln Square restaurant would be designed with "antique elements" and a "rustic decor." [Facebook/Nick's Pizza & Pub]
