ALBANY PARK — Join neighbors Thursday night for a casual bike ride that connects two of Chicago's most diverse communities — Albany Park and Uptown.

The "Lawrence Jaunt" gets rolling at 6:30 p.m. from Bikes 'N' Roses, 4747 N. Sawyer Ave. (participants should start assembling at 6 p.m.).

Riders will wind their way through Lincoln Square and Ravenswood before finishing up at the Argyle Night Market, where Uptown Bikes will host a free bike valet for cyclists interested in exploring the market.

The bike valet, at 1124 W. Argyle St., will close at 8:45 p.m.
