'Interactive' Reptile Show Lined Up For Irving-Austin Library Thursday

"Children of all ages and their families" are invited to "see, touch and learn about reptiles and their super abilities" for free, starting at 2 p.m. Thursday, according to librarians.

CHICAGO — Dave Dinaso's Traveling World of Reptiles on Thursday will swing by Irving-Austin Public Library, 6100 W. Irving Park Road, to get neighbors acquainted with snakes, lizards and frogs.

The show is advertised as an "up-close, live, and extremely interactive ... experience about reptiles and amphibians from around the world." It has been performed more than 14,000 times around the city and suburbs during the past 20 years, according to its website.
