CHICAGO — Shootings have wounded 12 people since Saturday, police said.

• At 5 a.m. Sunday, a 34-year-old man was shot in South Shore, police said. The man was outside in the 6800 block of South Crandon Avenue when he heard shots and felt pain.

The man was hit in his back and was taken to Northwestern Hospital in serious condition, police said.

• At 4:05 a.m., a 29-year-old man was shot in West Woodlawn, police said. The man was walking on hte sidewalk in the 6600 block of South Cottage Grove Avenue when someone walked up, demanded the man's money and fired a shot at the man.

The man was hit in his lower back and took himself to South Shore Hospital, where his condition was not available but police said he was listed as "stable."

• At 2:09 a.m., a 27-year-old man and 28-year-old man were shot in West Woodlawn, police said. The men were in a car driving in the 400 block of East 62nd Street when they heard shots and felt pain.

The 27-year-old was hit in his right calf and the 28-year-old was hit in his right ankle. They took themselves to University of Chicago Medical Center, where their conditions were nto available but they were listed as "stable."

• At 2 a.m., a 25-year-old woman was shot in Englewood, police said. The woman was walking through a park in the 1300 block of South Throop Street when someone walked up to her and fired shots.

The woman was hit in her abdomen and left arm and taken to Stroger Hospital, where her condition was not available but police said she was listed as "stable."

• At 1:05 a.m., a 27-year-old man was shot in Marquette Park, police said. The man was standing on a front porch in the 6600 block of South Campbell Avenue when several people fired shots at him from a gangway.

The man was hit multiple times in his back and taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center, where his condition was not available but police said he was listed as "stable."

• At 12:32 a.m., a 22-year-old man was shot in Irving Park.

• At 12:27 a.m., a 29-year-old man was shot in Grand Crossing, police said. The man was standing on the sidewalk in the 7100 block of South State Street when someone in a gray-colored car fired shots at him.

The man was hit in his abdomen, left thigh and buttocks and was taken to Stroger Hospital in critical condition, police said.

The man is a documented gang member, a police source said.

• At 10:55 p.m. Saturday, a 19-year-old man was shot in North Lawndale, police said. The man was walking on the sidewalk in the 1300 block of South Millard Avenue when he heard shots and felt pain.

The man was hit in his right hip and took himself to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition was not available but police said he was listed as "stable."

The man is a documented gang member, a police source said.

• At 6:58 p.m., a 23-year-old man and 24-year-old man were shot in Austin, police said. The men were standing outside in the 1100 block of North Lockwood when they heard shots. The men ran to the back of a nearby building and realized they'd been hit.

The 23-year-old was hit in his left leg and the 24-year-old was hit in his right wrist and bicep. They took themselves to West Suburban Hospital. No conditions for the two were available, but police said the 24-year-old was listed as "stable."

• At 5:45 p.m., a 21-year-old man was wounded by a shooting in Chatham, police said. The man was walking in the 7700 block of South Cottage Grove Avenue when he heard shots and felt pain.

The man's left arm was grazed by a bullet and he took himself to St. Bernard Hospital, where his condition was not available but police said he was listed as "stable."

No one was in custody in these shootings.

From Friday to Saturday morning, seven people were wounded in shootings across the city.
