BRIDGEPORT — A burglar broke into a neighborhood hot dog stand last week — and was caught on camera.
At 11:01 p.m. Feb. 1, two Chicago police officers rolling by 35th Street Red Hots, 500 W. 35th St., noticed the glass of building's front door was shattered. They entered the hot dog stand and found the inside in disarray.
The owners soon showed up and discovered the burglar had stolen some items.
Surveillance cameras captured photos of the man who broke in:
No one is in custody, and Area Central detectives are investigating.
