WRIGLEYVILLE — It was a Cinderella night for one tiny Cubs fan who was given a cleat worn by pitcher Jon Lester during Game 5 of the World Series by Lester himself.

Video shot by fans waiting behind barricades outside Wrigley Field after Sunday's game shows Lester, carrying two cleats and a coffee, spot and summon a young boy over to the green iron fence.

The boy, donned in a Cubs hat and jacket, scurried over to receive one of the shoes before jogging back to the barriers and Lester walking on.

Sunday's chilly Game 5 at Wrigley proved to be a fairy tale night for Cubs fans in general, as the team refused to give up their spot in the series despite the Cleveland Indians' 3-1 series lead. The Cubs took Game 5 with a 3-2 score.

Lester threw six innings and got the win.

The Cubs return to Cleveland tonight for a tense Game 6.
