NORWOOD PARK — The threat of a teachers strike prompted officials to postpone the annual Oriole Park Elementary School spaghetti dinner.
The dinner to raise money for the Norwood Park school's educational foundation will take place from 5-7:30 p.m. Nov. 18 in the school's gym, 5424 N. Oketo Ave.
The dinner was originally scheduled to take place Oct. 14.
Teachers could walk off the job as early as Tuesday.
The proceeds from the event will be used to support programs at the Norwood Park school, which has had its budget cut four times in the last year.
