BRIDGEPORT — Punk Rock and Donuts goes live on Saturday.
The neighborhood's annual punk show at the Richard J. Daley Library, 3400 S. Halsted St., is set for 2 p.m. The day's lineup includes three Chicago punk acts: Haymarket Riot, Crime Spree, and Nonagon.

Jackalope Coffee & Teahouse will provide coffee and donuts.
The idea behind Punk Rock and Donuts is to give neighborhood kids a safe place to catch a show at a reasonable time of day, according to Jeremy Kitchen, the library's manager.
