Want To Help Hillary Clinton Become President? Volunteer In Uptown

UPTOWN — Local politicians from around the state will be in Uptown Wednesday for the opening of the Hillary Clinton's campaign phone bank in the 46th Ward.

Local democratic leaders including Ald. James Cappleman (46th), State Sen. Heather Steans, U.S. Rep. Greg Harris (D-13) and Cook County Commissioner Bridget Gainer will be at the office, 4802 N. Broadway #200, near the Lawrence Red Line station Wednesday night to start making calls for Clinton, according to a press release for the event.

Attendees will learn how to they can get involved in the final two months of the campaign by visiting neighboring states or calling neighbors in the 46th Ward every Monday or Wednesday night, the release said.

The kick-off celebration will be held from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the KNI Communications office above the Green Mill Jazz Club. You can RSVP here.
