DOWNTOWN — This truck driver learned the hard way what happens when you try to squeeze a big rig into Lower Lake Shore Drive.
A DNAinfo reporter was driving through the Downtown thoroughfare Friday morning when she noticed the semi truck squeezed at Lower Lake Shore and Illinois Street.
Friday's accident follows a similar incident last week when another truck was stuck in the same spot, the reporter noticed.
A spokeswoman for the city's Department of Streets and Sanitation said the truck was still being removed early Friday afternoon. A police spokeswoman was unaware of any traffic citations issued for the incident.
