ARMOUR SQUARE — Jose Abreu, Melky Cabrera and Jose Quintana have something new to bond over in the dugout.
The first baseman, left fielder and pitcher each have a Latin American dish named after them.
The White Sox and Ald. Roberto Maldonado (26th) unveiled three Latino dishes inspired by the Sox players and created by three of Chicago's best Latin restaurants. Each will be served at the 2016 Taste of Latin America festival, a celebration featuring cuisine from more than 20 of Chicago's hottest Latin restaurants.
Take a look at the White Sox dishes:
Jose Quintana's Colombian-Style Hot Dog
Jose Abreu's Brochettas
Melky Cabrera Arroz con Pollo
2016 Taste of Latin America runs noon-10 p.m. Friday and Saturday on Division Street between California Avenue and Rockwell Street.
