MOUNT GREENWOOD — A hiring fair will be held from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesday at Saint Christina School in Mount Greenwood.

The first hour of the job fair at 3333 W. 110th St. is set aside for veterans only, according to the organizers.

State Sen. Bill Cunningham (D-18th) and state Rep. Fran Hurley (D-35th) have partnered with the Illinois Department of Employment Security to coordinate the event designed to bring together employers and potential employees.

“One of the most important things we can do as public officials is connect job seekers with employment opportunities,” said Cunningham in a written statement.

Employers are asked to reserve their spot at the hiring fair by visiting Cunningham's website. Questions can be directed to Cunningham and Hurley's district office at 773-445-8128.
