LOGAN SQUARE — Logan Square's go-to spot for Cajun food and cocktails, Analogue, has closed.
The unexpected closure comes a month-and-a-half after two of the founder of the bar/restaurant as well as the chef left the business.
Scott Crawford, the general manager, confirmed Analogue is now permanently closed Monday afternoon.
The restaurant's last day in business at 2523 N. Milwaukee Ave. was Sunday.
Analogue was originally opened by owners Henry Prendergast and Robby Haynes, who were veterans from the highly-acclaimed Wicker Park cocktail bar Violet Hour.
The bar originally opened with a focus on drinks, but moved in the direction of Cajun/Creole food under chef Alfredo Nogueira.
Prendergast, Haynes and Nogueira all left the restaurant in May, but Analogue's management statement that the restaurant planned to stay open as-is until the unexpected closure Sunday.
