BRIDGEPORT — It's been almost three years since the White Sox unveiled Ron Kittle's bobblehead, and the former first baseman clearly got a batch of them.
The bobblehead's been making the rounds all over Europe with Kittle himself, a fan favorite with the 1983 "Winning Ugly" team that made the playoffs for the first time since 1959.
You can catch a glimpse of his travel thrills on real life Ron Kittle's Twitter, @nakedbiker. The Kittle bobblehead seems to be having a grand time overseas, stopping at sights like the Leaning Tower of Pisa.
It's no secret that Kittle, who smacked 140 home runs in eight seasons on the South Side, loves to fuel up in cafes before the wheels go up.
And it seems the Sox outfielder's talents catching fly balls has translated to catching some sleep on long flights.
Playing on the South Side, Kittle was no stranger to beautiful cathedrals — but look at that this grin of awe outside the Sagrada Familia Basilica in Barcelona.
Then there's this photo bomb. Michelangelo's work clearly spans generations.
Kittle's bobblehead knows how to chill on off days.
Why not a stop in Montenegro?
How 'bout a quick jaunt to Mount Vesuvius?
Show Kittle's bobblehead a mountain, and he'll climb it.
Let's hope he can swim.
Where on Earth will he go next?
