CHICAGO — Chicago Public Schools will help more students become bilingual in English and Spanish, the district announced Wednesday.

CPS will offer its Dual Language programs, which help students gain fluency in multiple languages, to five more schools starting in the 2017-18 academic year, according to the district. Fifteen schools already offer the programs.

The schools getting the programs:

• Azuela Elementary, 4707 W. Marquette Road

• Hurley Elementary, 3849 W. 69th Place

• Moos Elementary, 1711 N. California Ave.

• Mozart Elementary, 2200 N. Halmin Ave.

• Spry Elementary, 2200 N. Halmin Ave.
