CHICAGO — Adam LaRoche, who famously walked away from baseball after the Sox asked him to scale back the amount of time his son spent with the team, sent out a reminder on Twitter Wednesday:
"Don't forget, tomorrow is take your child to work day."
The former White Sox first baseman left $13 million on the table by retiring.
