CHICAGO — Two young men have been charged in the murder of a 30-year-old woman who was sitting in a taxi in Armour Square last month, police said.

Natrell Jackson, 18, of the 100 block of East 59th Street, was charged with first degree murder. A 16-year-old boy was charged for murder as well. Police do not release mugshots or names of juveniles charged with crimes.

The shooting happened Feb. 26 at 9:45 p.m. in the 3800 block of South Princeton Avenue, a few blocks south of Sox Park. Shots were fired and a bullet entered the back of the car and struck the woman.

The victim, later identified as Shari Graham, was taken to Stroger Hospital in critical condition before she was pronounced dead 45 minutes later.

Jackson and his accomplice are scheduled to appear in bond court Monday.
