ENGLEWOOD — Two men and a woman were hurt Wednesday in two separate shootings in Englewood, police said.

Most recently, around 11:50 p.m. Wednesday night, a 23-year-old man was standing on the sidewalk in the 1900 block of West Marquette Avenue when someone walked up and shot at him, according to Officer Ana Pacheco, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

Friends brought the man to Holy Cross Hospital and he was later transferred to Mount Sinai Hospital, Pacheco said, where he was treated for a gunshot wound in the upper left leg.

Police said the man was a documented gang member.

Around 1:45 p.m. Wednesday afternoon, a 20-year-old man and a 38-year-old woman were visiting the sidewalk memorial for their slain family member, 28-year-old Nicholas Robinson — when someone opened fire.
