MAGNIFICENT MILE — Fare play?
Protesters calling for Mayor Rahm Emanuel's resignation shut down North Michigan Avenue again Friday evening, drawing jeers and cheers from Mag Mile motorists, including a literal sign of support from a local taxi driver:
The driver declined to comment, so his reasoning behind supporting the protesters is unclear. Is it Emanuel's Uber-friendly policies? Higher fares while being stuck in traffic?
Unless he's driving down the boulevard again on Christmas Eve, when the #ResignRahm protesters plan to shut down the Magnificent Mile again, we'll never know.
