CHICAGO — For a few hours this weekend, Uber customers will be able to order homemade Italian meals for free.
In a partnership with Johnsonville, the ride-hailing company will be sending three "sausage nonnas" around the city to deliver their handmade sausage recipes to anyone who orders them.
The women will cook in transit, in tiny houses hitched to the back of Uber cars.
Seriously.
Between 2-6 p.m. Sunday, Uber users will have the option to request "NONNAS." At that point either Antonia, Gina or Lidia will have her miniature kitchen brought straight to their location to drop off some fresh rigatone, lasagna or spaghetti & meatballs.
No word yet if "That's Amore" will be playing in the background when they roll up to your location.
