WEST LOOP — In the West Loop, landing the "best dressed pet" title pits you against some stiff competition.
At the sixth annual West Loop Veterinary Care Howl-O-Ween event Saturday, dressed up pups — and cats, too — competed in a costume contest and a trick-or-treat hunt at Mary Bartelme Park. Instead of bobbing for apples, dogs bobbed for rubber balls and could pose for portraits with their human family, too, said Gregory Harris, manager at the West Loop vet practice.
