CHICAGO — More than 70 dogs and cats will be up for adoption during the third Angels With Tails event this weekend in Lincoln Square.

Attendees will be able to walk down Lincoln Avenue and look into store windows to see "the joy a pet can bring to your life," according to a PAWS news release. The event helps puppies, kittens, dogs and cats find homes while raising awareness about euthanasia and pet homelessness.

The event is noon-4 p.m. Sunday at businesses on Lincoln Avenue between Leland and Lawrence avenues. More than 20 businesses are participating, according to PAWS.
