Driving past the restaurant at 300 W. 31st St., you may have noticed the lights turned off at night: An unusual sight at one of the neighborhood's favorite Italian restaurants.
Taped to the front door, you'll find this notice:
FRANCO'S IS CLOSED FOR VACATION
SORRY FOR ANY INCONVENIENCE
Call the restaurant to make reservations, and the phone's voice message shares the same news.
Owners were not available to tell DNAinfo Chicago when the restaurant would be open again.
