CHICAGO — Walk the new Riverwalk with your pets at the city's official "Dog Days of Summer" event this weekend.
The event from the City of Chicago and Chicago Animal Care and Control runs noon to 6 p.m. Saturday and noon to 6 p.m. Sunday on the Riverwalk between LaSalle Street and Lake Shore Drive.
There will be pet-friendly activities like a pet photo booth and canine cruise. There is a pet parade and dog competitions scheduled for Sunday.
