HYDE PARK — William Shakespeare’s work will get the “best-of” treatment on Aug. 16 at Washington Park.

The Chicago Shakespeare Theater will close out its summer tour of the parks at 4 p.m. Aug. 16 just to the east of the swimming pool at 5531 S. Russell Drive.

Neighborhood dancers will accompany the Shakespearean actors as they perform some of the most memorable scenes from “Romeo and Juliet,” “Macbeth,” “Taming of the Shrew” and “As You Like It.”

It’s a final chance to catch “Shakespeare’s Greatest Hits” as the free performances directed by Dominic Missimi close for the summer.
