Political Consultant David Axelrod to Headline Misericordia Benefit

EDGEWATER — Democratic Political Advisor David Axelrod, who served as a senior adviser to President Barack Obama, will headline a breakfast to benefit Misericordia.

The City Club of Chicago is organizing the event at 8 a.m. Tuesday, March 31, at Misercordia's Jean Marie Ryan Center, 6300 N. Ridge Ave.

Carol Marin, NBC Political Editor and Chicago Sun-Times Columnist, will moderate the "conversation" with Axelrod, who authored the book "BELIEVER: My Forty Years in Politics".

Individual tickets are $100, while table sponsorships start at $1,500.

Misercordia provides care for more than 600 children and adults with developmental disabilities.
