NORTH CENTER — It's one day closer to Friday, so why not celebrate at Half Acre.
The brewery's hosting the Hayward bluegrass band at 8 p.m. Tuesday night in the Tap Room, 4257 N. Lincoln Ave. Half Acre beers will be flowing and Apart Pizza is delivering pies.
Hayward features six rotating lead singers performing everything from ballads to honky tonk. The band's self-described "downtown hoedown sound" draws from bluegrass, Americana and pop, sometimes incorporating all three at once.
