ROSCOE VILLAGE — Lagunitas Brewery founder Tony Magee steps out from behind the bar and gets in front of a mic Thursday night, playing guitar and singing at Four Moon Tavern's "Hoo Hah."

Magee will take the stage at 8 p.m., followed by a performance from Devil in a Woodpile.

Plenty of Lagunitas beers will be on tap, natch. Four Moon, 1847 W. Roscoe St., will be pouring Lagunitas IPA, Hop Stoopid, Fusion 26 and A Little Sumpin’ Sumpin’.

Magee may be one of the giants of craft brewing, founding Lagunitas in 1993, but the Arlington Heights native originally dropped out of college to play in a traveling reggae band, according to a profile in Chicago magazine.
