CANARYVILLE — Voters in the 11th Ward who are looking to learn a little more about their aldermanic candidates are invited to a forum hosted by the Canaryville Improvement Association.

The event takes place at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the auditorium of St. Gabriel, 4500 S. Wallace Ave., right after the 6 p.m. monthly CAPS meeting.

Organizers said the event is a forum, not a debate. The candidates will be given the questions in advance and a moderator will facilitate the discussion.

Wednesday's forum will be among the first time candidates Maureen Sullivan, John Kozlar and Patrick D. Thompson have gathered to discuss their platforms.

A similar forum hosted by several grassroots groups will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at First Lutheran Church of the Trinity, 643 W. 31st St.
