CHICAGO — Authorities said a man robbed a Wicker Park bank Saturday afternoon, and are offering a reward for his capture.

The suspect entered the Bank of America at 1585 N. Milwaukee Avenue about 12:45 p.m. and handed a teller a note, demanding money, police said.

The teller complied, and the suspect fled with an unknown amount of cash.

No weapon was displayed, police said, and no one is in custody.

The suspect was described as a white male in his 30s, standing between 5-foot-8 and 6-feet. He is suspected in one other robbery of the PNC Bank at 2100 W. Chicago Ave. on Dec. 26, and another attempted robbery he aborted after getting cold feet. That robbery attempt was of a Chase Bank at 1959 W. Division St. on Dec. 5.

The FBI is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to his arrest.

Another Wicker Park bank was robbed Friday morning when a man held up the North Community Bank at 1555 N. Damen Ave. The bank is across the street from the Bank of America. The suspect in that robbery was described as a black man between 25 and 30, standing 5-foot-5 to 5-foot-7. He wore a gray hooded sweatshirt, sunglasses, jeans and a black mask, the FBI said.
