RAVENSWOOD MANOR — Election season isn't over yet. It's decision time again for the folks of Ravenswood Manor as they head to the polls in a crucial vote that will determine the playground equipment configuration in Ravenswood Manor Park for generations to come.
Four designs are in the running as the park gets set for an upgrade courtesy of the Chicago Plays! program, which has undertaken the renovation of 300 playgrounds across Chicago.
Though the options vary in style and equipment, the surface material is the same no matter the design — engineered wood fibar.
A survey is available online for voters to view the candidates and make their selection. Voting is open through 5 p.m. Thursday.
