PULLMAN —The only four-year, public university on the South Side will hold an open house for prospective students interested in learning more about the school.

The open house runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday at Chicago State University, 9501 S. King Drive. Free parking is also available.

Chicago State officials said the open house will allow prospective students to meet with academic advisors, tour the campus, talk with faculty from academic departments, apply for admission, meet with financial aid advisors, attend student panels to ask questions of current university students, and attend a host of workshops.

Students can RSVP online or by calling the Admissions Office at 773-995-2513.
