CHICAGO — The Cubs want your old baseball equipment.
On Sunday, for the 10th year, the North Siders are collecting used baseball and softball equipment, benefiting the Neighborhood Boys & Girls Club.
So far, Major League Baseball teams have taken in more than 100,000 pieces of equipment and raised about $1.6 million for the Baseball Tomorrow Fund, which benefits local organizations in need.
Fans can bring new and gently used equipment to Gate D at Wrigley Field starting at 11 a.m. Sunday, prior to the 1:20 p.m. Cubs-Dodgers game.
