SOUTH LOOP — A batch of t-shirts commemorating the Jackie Robinson West national Little League championship are on their way.
The question is, will they last until Wednesday's parade?
The team announced on its Facebook page that 7,000 t-shirts are coming to the Dick's Sporting Goods at Roosevelt and Canal on Tuesday. The shirts cost $20, with proceeds benefiting the league.
The team stormed through the Little League World Series, capturing the city's heart en route to the U.S. Championship. The team fell short of a world title, losing Sunday to the kids from Seoul, South Korea.
