CHICAGO — Grab your umbrellas, Chicago.

A flood advisory is in effect until 4:30 p.m., according to the National Weather Service.

So far, the city has seen 1 to 2 inches of rainfall, and the National Weather Service expects we'll get another inch or 2 of rainfall, according to an alert.

The rainstorm might lead to minor flooding, the National Weather Service says.

They advise Chicagoans not to drive in areas where the water covers the roadway like viaducts and underpasses.

"The water depth may be too great to allow your car to cross safely," the alert says.
