UPTOWN — It looks like this one is for the vegans.
An empty storefront at 838 W. Montrose Ave. will open on Nov. 1 as Loving Heart, an establishment that will offer "pure vegan food," according to a sign on the window.
Uptown Update broke the news about the restaurant on Wednesday, noting that the storefront used to be filled by the Purple Cow, an ice cream cafe.
The Purple Cow ditched Uptown for Wicker Park in 2012.
The owner of Loving Heart was not immediately reachable for comment.
