CHICAGO — A giant tortoise at the Lincoln Park Zoo has won an architecture award.
Well, kind of: The tortoise-inspired wood and fiberglass shell over the zoo's boardwalk was cited in a prominent design award for Jeanne Gang, whose renowned work you've probably seen in other spots around the city, including the Aqua Tower.
