CHICAGO — Two people were killed and six others wounded in shootings and stabbings Saturday night through Sunday afternoon.

Joanna Lopez, 26, was stabbed to death in a domestic dispute in her Heart of Chicago home early Sunday, police said.

In Gage Park, Adrian Sianez, 24, was fatally shot in his buttocks and lower back during a gang-related drive-by, police said. Sianez was standing in the 5500 block of South Mozart Street when someone hopped out of an SUV and opened fire about 3:40 a.m. Sunday.

Sianez was taken in critical condition to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 10:11 a.m. Sunday, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.

In non-fatal shootings:

• A teenage male was shot in his leg about 4 p.m. in the 8300 block of South Ingleside Avenue in Chatham, said Officer Daniel O'Brien, a police spokesman. The teen was treated at Advocate Christ Medical Center.

• Just before 5 a.m. Sunday, a 34-year-old man was shot multiple times in his chest and leg in West Garfield Park, said Officer John Mirabelli, a police spokesman. The man was sitting in a car in the 3900 block of West Wilcox Street when someone walked up and began shooting.

The victim was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in serious condition.

• Three people were shot about 2:50 a.m. Sunday during a drive-by in Roseland, Mirabelli said. The victims had been sitting on a front porch in the first block of West 114th Street when someone in a light-colored Honda opened fire.

25-year-old man is in critical condition at Christ after he was shot in his leg and abdomen. Two women are being treated at Roseland Community Hospital: a 19-year-old who was hit in her right hand and a 27-year-old who was struck in her left foot.

• In Woodlawn, a 19-year-old man was shot in his right hand about 9:50 p.m. Saturday, Mirabelli said. The man was treated at Stroger Hospital for the shooting, which occurred in the 6800 block of South Champlain Avenue.
