CHICAGO — Goodbye pancakes at midnight. Hello deep dish?

It looks as though Lou Malnati's Pizzeria is adding a North Center location where the Golden Angel restaurant is located. Ald. Ameya Pawar said he's working with the Golden Angel's owner and a development team to bring the deep-dish joint to 4344 N. Lincoln Ave.

Pawar said the project is being considered by his Zoning Advisory Committee.

Lou Malnati's has filed a zoning-change plan with the city, which says the restaurant's owners hope to be operational by the fall.

And it appears the former Bowman's bar space at the corner of Montrose and Lincoln avenues will have a new tenant.

Vaughan Hospitality Group, which operates a host of Irish-themed bars in the city, has signaled its intention to open a pub called Monty Gaels Tavern & Grill, a "gastro sports pub."
