CHICAGO — Can the Force rescue the Chicago White Sox's losing season?

Maybe not.

Regardless, the spirit of "Star Wars" fandom will be present at U.S. Cellular Field on Saturday, when the team hosts its third annual "Star Wars" Day.

Fans are encouraged to dress in "Star Wars" attire and march in a pregame parade around the field. Throughout the game, there will be "Star Wars" graphics projected on the big screens and music from the movies piped into the ballpark.

A portion from every ticket sold to Saturday's game benefits Stand up to Cancer, a group that collects donations to help fund cancer research. Tickets can be bought here.

First pitch is 3:05 p.m.

Also on Saturday, the first 10,000 kids ages 13 and under will get a free Sox replica batting helmet.
