DOWNTOWN— Despite the foggy cloud blanketing the Loop Tuesday morning, workers and tourists navigated their way to Daley Plaza for a sneak-'eat' of the offerings at next month's Taste of Chicago.

Samplers feasted on a variety of dishes from eight Chicago joints, including two Taste newcomers: Taco Joint and Wishbone Restaurant.

Taco Joint offered up barbacoa and cochinita tacos with elotes for a side dish, while Wishbone Restaurant served up their classic "Hoppin' John salad" and chicken etouffee with rice.

Festival mainstay's Connie's Pizza and Robinson's Ribs both served up their fan favorites: deep dish pizza and pulled pork sandwiches, respectively.
