UNDER N. MICHIGAN AVENUE — Billy Goat Tavern owner Sam Sianis — and a rather stinky goat named Billy Jr. — made a cameo appearance Thursday in an indie comedy, “Like Father, Like Daughter,” being filmed at his famous subterranean pub.

Allie Loukas, 28, who wrote the script, said the movie is the story of a young woman who meets her biological father, a plumber, after her toilet overflows in her house.

“It’s a comedy in the vein of John Hughes and Judd Apatow,” she said.

When Loukas, who is also directing the film, yelled action, Ol’ Sam marched Billy Jr. through the crowded bar right on cue.

It wasn’t an accident that Loukas shot the scene at Billy Goat. And she didn’t cast Sianis only for his good looks — or because she needed a guy with an odiferous goat.

“Sam is a very good friend of my father,” she said. “They met when they first came over from Greece in the '70s, and they’ve been friends ever since.”

Or as Loukas’ mother, Gloria, put it, “It’s the Greek connection.”
