Train delays

Waltz was found on a 6 train Tuesday morning, but was very "friendly with strangers," officials said.

A power outage suspended northbound service, Amtrak said. 

Power briefly went out in a tube leading to the station, officials said.

There were also delays on J and M lines and on southbound 4 and 6 trains on Tuesday morning.

A small track fire broke out in the tunnel between Queensboro Plaza and 57th Street, officials said.

A man was hit by a northbound 3 train at the West 72nd Street and Broadway subway station.

The man was struck at the Woodside station around rush hour Friday evening. 

Passengers were temporarily forced off the 7 train and rerouted via Queensboro Plaza.

Authorities believe the man jumped in front of the train at Grand Central station Monday afternoon.

A train stalled in the East River tunnel about 7:30 Wednesday night, stranding communters, Amtrak says.

The trains were running with delays in both directions Wednesday morning, according to the MTA.

A woman was struck and killed at the subway station near the Barclays Center Thursday afternoon.

The MTA said to expect systemwide delays of up to 20 minutes on the LIRR during the evening commute.

The train was bypassing the station and travelling 80 mph when it struck them, officials said.

N and Q trains were stopped between Queensboro Plaza and Ditmars Boulevard Tuesday afternoon.
