The Oscar-winning 1935 classic, starring silver screen legend Clark Cable, recounts the true story of the HMS Bounty, which left from England in 1787 on a voyage to Tahiti under the command of the tyrannical Captain Bligh. When officers challenge Bligh’s cruelty, they joined the crew to mutiny and cast Bligh adrift.

The screening is part of a film series at the South Street Seaport Museum.
