"How 2nd Ave. Became Broadway" is a concert at the Hebrew Tabernacle Congregation of Washington Heights, featuring hit songs from both the Yiddish Theatre and Broadway. The program includes numbers from Broadway legends the Gershwins, Leonard Bernstein, Stephen Sondheim, Bock and Harnick, and Abe Ellstein, among others. Performances by stage and opera veterans Beverly Myers, Cantor Lee Schwartz, and Marques Hollie accompaniment by pianist David Deschamps and narration by writer and film critic George Robinson.

Tickets range from $10-$25 with all proceeds to Beth Am, the People's Temple & the Hebrew Tabernacle.
